The BR Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the finance function in São Paulo, ensuring smooth and secure financial operations within a rapidly evolving fintech or betting landscape. This role demands precision, initiative, and strong collaboration across teams to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, with a focus on digital transactions including PIX and other payment provider systems
- Conduct daily reconciliations of large transaction volumes, identifying discrepancies and resolving them efficiently
- Collaborate with Payment Service Providers, internal operations, and fraud prevention teams to address issues promptly
- Process invoices accurately and ensure timely approvals and payments
- Respond to vendor inquiries to maintain a seamless procure-to-pay workflow
- Strengthen financial controls through continuous review and improvement
- Deliver regular and on-demand financial analysis to support strategic decisions
- Partner with compliance and product departments to safeguard financial processes
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, tax regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain relationships with local banks, auditors, tax agencies, and regulators
- Represent the organization in official communications when required
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, along with a recognized accounting credential. At least three years of experience in finance, treasury, or accounting is required, including a minimum of one year in fintech, betting, or a transaction-heavy environment.
Essential skills include expertise in accounting procedures, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, strong organizational abilities, and fluency in English. Experience handling microtransaction reconciliations and navigating banking systems is critical. A proactive mindset, comfort in a fast-paced setting, and the ability to work across departments in a flat structure are essential.
Familiarity with the gaming, betting, or e-commerce sectors is an advantage. Intermediate Spanish skills are preferred.
