Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) – Remote Role (South Africa)
This is a senior-level remote position for a qualified BCBA to support a US clinical team from South Africa. You will play a key role in reviewing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) treatment documentation, evaluating clinical data, and delivering actionable, evidence-based feedback to improve outcomes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Responsibilities
- Review ABA treatment reports for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with clinical best practices
- Analyze client progress data to identify trends and inform clinical decision-making
- Provide structured, written feedback on the effectiveness of current treatment plans
- Recommend data-driven adjustments to behaviour intervention strategies
- Conduct and interpret Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) when necessary
- Ensure all documentation meets BACB ethical standards and HIPAA requirements
- Collaborate remotely with BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical supervisors based in the US
- Maintain strict compliance with data privacy and security protocols
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on clinical experience in ABA therapy
- Proven ability to interpret clinical data and deliver formal written analysis
- Strong understanding of Functional Behaviour Assessments and intervention planning
- Excellent written communication skills—clarity, precision, and clinical rigor are essential
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while remaining closely aligned with a US-based team
- Stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps upload/download) via wired Ethernet
- Reliable power backup solution to manage load shedding
- Availability to work fixed EST business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time)
- Flexibility to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays as required
Preferred Attributes
- Active BCBA certification
- Candidates pursuing BCBA certification may be considered
- Familiarity with U.S. ABA standards and BACB ethical guidelines
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with structured working hours. You must be able to maintain consistent availability during EST business hours, including adjustments for daylight saving time. A dedicated workspace with reliable internet and power infrastructure is required.
