About the Role

This position involves leading the assessment and development of individualized behavior support strategies for children, supervising behavior technicians, and working closely with families and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of applied behavior analysis services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments for clients
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment data
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians in proper implementation techniques
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with families to support plan consistency at home
  • Provide direct ABA therapy when necessary
  • Document client progress and session notes accurately
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards set by the BACB
  • Attend team meetings and coordinate with other service providers
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses
  • Lead caregiver training sessions
  • Support transitions between settings or levels of care
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews
  • Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis
