About the Role
The BCBA will lead assessment, treatment planning, and supervision for clients receiving applied behavior analysis services. This role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, family collaboration, and consistent implementation of evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments for clients
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment data
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in implementation of treatment protocols
- Monitor client progress through direct observation and data analysis
- Collaborate with caregivers to support skill generalization across settings
- Revise treatment strategies based on performance and outcome data
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and professional standards
- Document client sessions and treatment outcomes regularly
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Provide feedback and coaching to frontline staff
- Coordinate care with other professionals involved in client services
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct functional behavior assessments as needed
- Support transitions between treatment settings when required
- Lead caregiver training workshops and skill-building sessions
- Promote consistency in behavior strategies across environments
- Address emergent behavioral concerns with timely interventions
- Use objective data to guide clinical decisions
- Ensure fidelity in program implementation by direct staff
- Model effective teaching and behavior management techniques
- Support quality improvement initiatives within the clinical team
- Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Stay current with developments in applied behavior analysis
- Assist in onboarding new clinical team members
- Contribute to program evaluation and service development
