We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Engineer to design and maintain core systems that enable seamless movement between traditional and digital currencies. You will play a central role in building transaction pipelines, managing wallet lifecycle operations, and enabling secure, reliable interactions across multiple blockchain networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-throughput transaction broadcasting systems
- Monitor, detect, and resolve stuck or failed transactions with automated recovery strategies
- Develop and maintain wallet infrastructure and automation tools
- Implement parallel transaction processing with strict safety controls
- Enhance system observability, alerting, and operational safeguards
- Build stateful orchestration layers for multi-step, cross-chain workflows
- Design systems with auditability, reconciliation, and financial accuracy as core principles
- Support routing logic and swap execution with awareness of MEV, slippage, and liquidity shifts
- Develop off-chain services that interact securely with on-chain smart contracts
- Collaborate with product teams to define scalable technical strategies
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and system improvements
- Evolve infrastructure to meet growing volume, complexity, and reliability demands
What You Bring
- Strong foundation in backend or platform engineering with production system experience
- Proven experience working with live blockchain networks in production environments
- Deep understanding of transaction lifecycle management and failure recovery on at least one blockchain
- A mindset oriented around edge cases, failure modes, and system resilience
Preferred Experience
- Ability to walk through a real-world production incident from detection to resolution
- Experience with wallet systems or custody infrastructure for Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Solana
- Familiarity with MEV, slippage, pricing impact, and risks in swap execution
- Background in high-throughput financial systems or fintech platforms
- Worked at exchanges, DeFi protocols, or wallet infrastructure teams
- Knowledge of UTXO-based blockchains including coin selection and fee bumping (RBF/CPFP)
- Experience designing cross-chain or multi-step transaction orchestrators
- Familiarity with blockchain event ingestion or indexing pipelines
- Understanding of token standards like ERC-20 and SPL, and backend smart contract interaction
Technology Environment
Our systems span multiple blockchain networks, smart contracts, transaction broadcasting layers, cross-chain protocols, DeFi integrations, wallet infrastructure, event processing pipelines, and token standards including ERC-20 and SPL.
