Responsibilities
- Examine biological and production datasets to generate insights that inform research, process optimization, and new product design.
- Assess statistical, machine learning, and computational biology methods for suitability in analyzing experimental and operational data.
- Build, test, and maintain high-performance bioinformatics workflows that scale with growing data volumes.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to define needs and transition prototypes into reliable production systems.
- Maintain high standards for data quality, provenance, correctness, and protection.
- Apply software development best practices such as version control, peer code review, and automated testing and deployment.
Compensation
San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range $131,250 - $183,750 - Depending upon experience
