Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run various secondary binding machines
- Examine machinery for potential safety hazards
- Operate automatic glue binding systems that process collated pages or signatures through multiple integrated stages
- Perform tasks including vibrating, milling, surface roughening, adhesive application, covering, and stacking finished products such as books, periodicals, or catalogs
- Make precise adjustments to synchronize multiple stations within a single machine
- Lead production team members through all phases of manufacturing operations
- Track and maintain standards for quality, volume output, and operational efficiency
