Blue Kite Wellness is hiring a Bilingual In-Home Mental Health Therapist (BA or MA) - Kane County (Aurora & Elgin Towns)

About the Role

Provide clinical mental health services in client homes, focusing on culturally responsive treatment for individuals and families. Work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and implement therapeutic plans for children, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments in home environments
  • Deliver individual and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with community agencies and referral sources
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment plans
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Engage clients in treatment planning and goal setting
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary
  • Coordinate care with schools and healthcare providers
  • Support clients across developmental stages
  • Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations
  • Complete documentation within required timeframes
  • Follow agency protocols for safety and reporting
  • Engage in ongoing professional development
  • Utilize telehealth components when appropriate
  • Serve clients in both Aurora and Elgin regions
  • Work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Transport to client homes using personal vehicle
  • Maintain licensure and certification requirements
  • Respond to client needs with cultural sensitivity
  • Implement trauma-informed care practices
  • Support client progress through regular evaluation
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Uphold agency policies and procedures
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience
