Responsibilities
- Examine tire casings using company-approved tools, techniques, and documented processes.
- Operate the shearography machine to scan casings, interpret findings, and assign appropriate grades based on structural integrity.
- Remove residual tread from casings using buffing equipment according to specified methods.
- Apply new tread to prepared casings following established protocols and technical guidelines.
- Insert casings into curing envelopes, fit inner liners, and verify airtight sealing.
- Conduct vacuum testing on sealed envelopes and perform repairs on damaged casings using approved procedures.
- Load curing chambers and configure correct curing settings for each batch.
- Perform repeated casing inspections using standardized tools and work instructions.
- Coordinate with sales representatives and fleet clients to fulfill service requirements.
- Accurately complete all required documentation in a clear and legible manner.
- Adhere to all applicable OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
