About the Role
The engineer will develop and optimize backend services using Golang, contribute to system architecture, and ensure reliability and scalability of production systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services in Golang
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning
- Maintain system reliability and uptime
- Contribute to API design and documentation
- Work with distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Monitor production systems and respond to incidents
- Implement security best practices in backend systems
- Optimize database queries and interactions
- Use version control systems effectively
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Diagnose and fix bugs across multiple environments
- Ensure code complies with engineering standards
- Contribute to technical decision-making
- Scale infrastructure to meet growing demand
- Collaborate asynchronously with team members
- Stay current with backend technology trends
- Participate in incident post-mortems
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with serverless architectures
