TransUnion is hiring a B2B Collections Analyst

Role Overview

This position focuses on resolving intricate collections challenges and securing payments on overdue invoices from major business clients. The analyst will engage directly with customers to address billing discrepancies, negotiate payment terms, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Success in this role depends on clear communication, analytical thinking, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business clients to resolve outstanding receivables and escalate issues as needed.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with assigned accounts to support long-term cooperation.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify root causes of payment delays and implement effective resolutions.
  • Initiate regular follow-ups with clients who have past-due balances to establish structured repayment plans.
  • Document all interactions and outcomes accurately within internal systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and finance, to align on collection strategies and share insights.
  • Investigate invoice disputes by gathering information from both external clients and internal departments.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce future delays.
  • Adapt to evolving policies, systems, and workflows to support organizational goals and improve financial outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of direct experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable management.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • High level of accuracy in documentation and data entry, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on financial data.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and respond promptly to changing demands.
  • Experience using critical thinking to interpret data and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on maintaining positive relationships during difficult conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise financial systems.

Technical Environment

The role operates within a digital workspace utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, with access to enterprise-level financial platforms such as PeopleSoft for transaction management and recordkeeping.

Work Mode

This position operates under a flexible model, allowing remote work with occasional in-person meetings or events as determined by leadership. Attendance at such events may be required on an as-needed basis.
