About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead the planning and activation of high-impact, cross-channel AV campaigns for Lidl UK, the fastest-growing physical supermarket in Great Britain, within the Connected Performance team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism and positivity while actively collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of TV, video, cinema, and audio campaigns that surpass client goals and strengthen agency performance in media audits.
  • Manage client investment strategies in partnership with Connections Planning to deliver top-tier unified video solutions.
  • Partner with media vendors to track emerging product developments and maintain high standards in campaign execution.
  • Monitor campaign budgets and delivery timelines closely, ensuring precision in control and reporting.
  • Contribute actively to the AV activation team by promoting transparency, cooperation, and alignment across departments.
  • Oversee financial workflows to guarantee accurate campaign bookings and efficient billing processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving audiovisual media trends to inform forward-thinking and competitive campaign strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AV specialist in cross-channel audiovisual campaign planning and execution.
  • Track record in managing client investment relationships and delivering integrated video solutions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and media suppliers.
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated skills in budget management and delivery oversight.
  • Experience handling financial operations for media campaigns, including booking and invoicing.
  • Up-to-date understanding of trends and dynamics in the AV media marketplace.

  • Focus on Detail: Keep a sharp eye on budgets and delivery, ensuring everything is tightly controlled and accurately reported.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Be a vital part of the AV activation team, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork and working closely with wider agency colleagues.
  • Manage Finances: Manage financial processes to ensure campaigns are booked accurately and billed smoothly.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up to date with the fast-paced AV media market trends to shape innovative and competitive campaign plans.
