Role OverviewWe're looking for an Automation Architect to lead the design and deployment of scalable automation solutions that drive efficiency and support long-term service delivery goals. You'll work within a technical team focused on automation, analytics, and intelligent systems, shaping the future of service architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across functions to assess business needs and convert them into practical, high-impact automation strategies.
- Design comprehensive, future-ready architectures that align with both customer expectations and operational scalability.
- Build modular, reusable frameworks that accelerate delivery and promote consistency across projects.
- Lead data-driven discussions to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Evaluate infrastructure scenarios to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Contribute to long-term roadmaps involving automation, data analytics, and AI/ML integration.
- Ensure automation outputs are reliable, repeatable, and validated through structured processes.
- Support code quality through reviews, testing, and thorough documentation practices.
- Guide team members through technical challenges and promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with advancements in automation technologies and recommend improvements based on industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in ECE, CSE, or IT, or an equivalent technical qualification; MBA considered a plus.
- Minimum of six years of experience in automation architecture roles.
- Deep understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and object-oriented modeling.
- Proven experience with tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
- Strong programming background in Java, with additional proficiency in Python, Groovy, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environments, SQL/PLSQL databases, scripting, and web technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or data science applications.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a significant advantage.
