Responsibilities
- Create or revise test automation scripts to ensure thorough validation of testing coverage
- Manage hardware and software components used in automated testing environments
- Propose and execute enhancements to current automated testing systems and procedures
- Assist in maintaining a software configuration management framework tailored to automated testing
- Preserve system architecture integrity to support consistent performance across diverse platforms
- Train team members and provide guidance on building automated testing platforms, including both automated and manual test execution methods
- Contribute to test and system documentation, capability upgrades, development roadmaps, and software updates as needed
- Produce or revise documentation to support automated testing, such as test and inspection criteria
- Produce or revise documentation to support automated testing, including multimedia resources illustrating test system operations
- Produce or revise documentation to support automated testing, including system specifications for relevant hardware and software components
- Produce or revise documentation to support automated testing, including updates to test program style standards, GUI design, and system architecture for current and future test systems
- Participate in project meetings and technical reviews
- Collaborate with internal team members across various departments, the contract project manager, and customer representatives
- Engage with external entities such as subcontractors, mission collaborators, and suppliers
