About the Role

The role involves assisting in the management of fund operations, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and maintaining regulatory compliance for private equity clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting and financial reporting for private equity funds
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reports
  • Coordinate with auditors during annual audit processes
  • Monitor compliance with fund formation documents and regulatory standards
  • Track capital calls, distributions, and investor capital activity
  • Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
  • Maintain accurate records of fund transactions and ownership details
  • Respond to investor inquiries regarding fund performance and operations
  • Prepare fund-level and investor-level statements on a periodic basis
  • Support onboarding of new fund clients and setup of accounting systems
  • Assist in the calculation of management fees and carried interest
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory filings
  • Monitor adherence to fund governance policies
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity across financial and investor databases
  • Work with external service providers on fund administration tasks
  • Help manage subscription and redemption processes
  • Maintain documentation for fund operations and audits
  • Support preparation of board meeting materials
  • Track key performance metrics for fund portfolios
  • Assist in tax reporting and related documentation
  • Provide backup support for team members during peak periods
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
  • Contribute to year-end closing and reporting activities
