Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to address business challenges in collaboration with senior engineering staff to deliver effective solutions.
- Propose innovative machine learning applications during team planning and ideation to create business value.
- Detect inefficiencies in current technologies and workflows, working with teams to improve engineering standards.
- Process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to support the development of reliable machine learning models.
- Lead the creation of specific machine learning components, coordinating with engineering and client teams to move from prototype to production.
- Work closely with internal development groups to deploy machine learning systems into live environments.
- Contribute to defining project scope, decomposing tasks, estimating effort, and assessing uncertainty for technical outputs.
- Diagnose problems in existing machine learning systems and implement performance-driven enhancements with measurable outcomes.
- Use data-centric techniques to test hypotheses, debug issues, and monitor the impact of implemented code changes.
