We're seeking an Associate Full-Stack Engineer to play a key role in evolving our SaaS platform. You'll work across the stack to maintain existing systems hosted on AWS while actively contributing to a strategic shift toward a cloud-agnostic foundation. This position demands a curious, methodical mindset and a strong commitment to long-term technical health over temporary fixes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance current AWS-hosted services while progressively refactoring components into a more flexible, future-ready architecture.
- Conduct in-depth debugging to uncover root causes in legacy code, tracing data pathways and proposing sustainable architectural improvements.
- Develop and deploy responsive front-end interfaces using Vue.js, and build reliable backend services in Python.
- Take full responsibility for maintenance tasks and QA workflows, enabling senior engineers to focus on high-level design.
- Independently investigate unfamiliar systems, formulate actionable solutions, and escalate only when necessary.
What You Bring
- 1–4 years of professional experience writing clean, maintainable Python code.
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular, and openness to working with Vue.js in production.
- A natural inclination to explore and understand complex codebases—reading code is as engaging as writing it.
- Ability to navigate AWS environments for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, and relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Strong interest in web architecture, browser behavior, and privacy-related mechanisms like cookies and tracking pixels.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience applying the Strangler Pattern to incrementally replace legacy systems.
- Knowledge of digital privacy regulations including GDPR or CCPA.
