Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of Tier 2 and Tier 3 pitch initiatives, ensuring teams meet deadlines and leadership is informed of obstacles.
- Define and assign key workstreams and responsibilities across all phases of Tier 2 and Tier 3 pitches.
- Act as the main point of contact between pitch teams and design specialists.
- Support the delivery of strategic objectives aligned with the overall pitch vision.
- Prepare or review initial written responses to RFIs and RFPs based on pitch tier requirements.
- Develop comprehensive Backgrounders covering the 5Cs—Company, Culture, Category, Consumer, and Communications—along with client biographies.
- Collect, verify, and interpret client intelligence using internal databases, public sources, and media archives.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to generate actionable insights for pitch content.
- Assist in Tier 1 pitch efforts by ensuring business leads have necessary resources and support.
- Guide members of the Growth support team in their contributions to pitch activities.
- Assemble and customize initial draft responses on agency credentials and operating models using internal assets and expert input.
- Analyze content and case studies to shape a cohesive and relevant pitch story.
- Adapt messaging to reflect client-specific needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Ensure the pitch narrative is grounded in insights and highlights organizational strengths.
- Support the creation and delivery of pitch theater concepts that enhance the strategic message.
- Align teams across disciplines to ensure unified execution throughout the pitch process.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with all pitch team members.
- Review draft status updates from Growth support to ensure clarity and accuracy in progress reporting.
- Collaborate with growth managers and associates across the network to coordinate integrated meetings and include key participants.
- Oversee daily priorities and engagement of junior team members involved in pitch efforts.
- Review junior team deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of decisions and action items.
- Verify that appropriate personnel are included in pitch-related meetings and presentations.
- Model high-performance behaviors and best practices for junior and mid-level staff.
- Promote a team culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and ongoing development.
- Share feedback and insights from completed pitches to improve future processes and resource utilization.
