Wolters Kluwer was looking for an Associate Director-Field Sales

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Associate Director of Field Sales to lead a team of sales managers and specialists in a dynamic customer environment. In this role, you will be accountable for the group's performance, driving sales activities, forecasting, and strategic planning.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the company's customer relationship activities through a team of sales managers, senior sales managers, and sales specialists in a highly complex environment.
  • Lead Hunter teams to develop strategies for penetrating new accounts and expanding deeply within existing ones.
  • Keep higher-level management informed about progress and issues.
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with sales, order processing, and customer support teams.
  • Focus on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development to meet objectives and quality standards.
  • Account for the performance and results of multiple related areas.
  • Develop departmental plans and objective-oriented assignments.
  • Establish operating policies, procedural plans, business priorities, methodologies, and standards.
  • Travel to company meetings, conferences, events, and client sites as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 9+ years working in Field Sales, Account Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to managers and senior professionals.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills coupled with the ability to manage a complex sales cycle.
  • Strong negotiation and high analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel.

Nice to Have

  • Ideally, the candidate has relationships with loan-generating fintech and sponsor banks.

Team & Environment

You will manage a team of 9 employees, including Field Sales Managers, Senior Field Sales Managers, and their direct reports. Our team is incredibly supportive, enjoys working together, and plays a key role in driving daily success within Wolters Kluwer.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $153,200 - $216,850 (Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA).
