About the Role

The Assistant Manager is accountable for all aspects of shift performance, including cost management, inventory, cash handling, and customer interactions, while modeling expected behaviors and enforcing compliance with all procedures.

  • Carry 3-pound, 7-ounce cans from workstations to storage
  • Occasionally transport 30-pound containers of pizza sauce within the store
  • Carry up to three pizza dough trays at once, each weighing about 12 pounds
  • Push dollies loaded with 24 to 30 trays, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force
  • Pull trays as needed during operations
  • Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for signage, cleaning, or maintenance
  • Frequent forward bending at waist level during pizza assembly
  • Limited knee flexion at assembly station; tasks last 30–45 seconds, repeated throughout the day
  • Forward bending also occurs at front counter and during restocking
  • Occasional crouching or squatting to access low shelves or clean areas
  • Continuous reaching in multiple directions: up, down, and forward
  • Occasional overhead reaching above 72 inches for oven controls or signage
  • Reaching downward to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes
  • Forward reaching to retrieve toppings, clean surfaces, or answer calls
