AECOM is hiring an Area Business Lead - Water / Wastewater

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the business growth strategy for the Cincinnati area market in alignment with regional and national objectives and initiatives.
  • Identifies, manages, and participates in key industry events that align with the growth strategy.
  • Creates and maintains a robust pipeline of project opportunities as documented and managed in AECOM’s client relationship management database.
  • Leads key pursuits, proposal reviews and interview preparation.
  • Collaborates with a strong and diverse team of capture managers, client account managers, project managers and technical practitioners.
  • Manages and provides engineering design of water/wastewater projects.
  • Develops talent and support their career planning via AECOM’s goal setting and performance management system.
  • Serve as Client Account Manager for a key clients in the Cincinnati area including MSDGC, GCWW, and Northern Kentucky SD1.
  • Support operations and project delivery teams in exceeding key project performance goals.
  • Apply best practices to project delivery by leveraging technology and standard methodologies of the Technical Practice Network (TPN).

Requirements

  • Creative, highly talented individual
  • Experience leading water/wastewater practice
  • Ability to manage engineering design of water/wastewater projects
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies
  • Experience with client relationship management systems
  • Leadership experience in pursuits, proposals, and interviews
  • Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including capture managers, client account managers, project managers, and technical practitioners
  • Experience serving as a Client Account Manager for major utility clients
