Talan is looking for an Architect / Tech Lead to join the Apps team in Toulouse. You will act as a technical referent, facilitating the translation of business challenges into technological choices. Your focus will be on structuring projects for application modernization and moving clients to the cloud.
What You'll Do
- Understand client functional and business needs and translate them into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Design, frame, and secure .Net application architectures in cloud environments.
- Implement and promote DevOps practices within projects.
- Guarantee the quality, performance, security, and maintainability of delivered applications.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams: best practices, code reviews, support, and skills development.
- Participate in pre-sales phases: needs analysis, contribution to technical proposals, estimates, and presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Higher education in computer science.
- At least 8 years of experience in application design and development, acquired in a consulting firm.
- Strong expertise in the .Net / C# ecosystem.
- Experience with at least one public cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Mastery of containerization, notably with Docker.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) as a container orchestrator.
- Ability to understand a need, challenge it, and transcribe it technically in a clear and pragmatic manner.
- Comfort in an architect or technical leader role, with good interpersonal skills and a sense of teamwork.
- Know-how in pre-sales: consulting posture, pedagogy, technical credibility.
- Professional-level English proficiency.
