This position supports international projects from a Global Excellence Centre, focusing on Government & Civic architecture. As an Architect I, you'll contribute to design development, produce detailed drawings, and ensure solutions meet functional, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned project tasks on time, within scope, and to quality benchmarks while aligning with client expectations
- Conduct self-reviews to verify accuracy and compliance before submission
- Support concept development through permit and technical design phases
- Create detailed architectural solutions that respond to project and client requirements
- Produce complete drawing sets, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and specifications
- Communicate design ideas using sketches, diagrams, and 3D visualizations
- Research building codes, materials, and regulations to inform compliant designs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design
- Experience with wood frame construction across residential or similar building types
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, TwinMotion, or Enscape
- Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively depending on project demands
- Experience supporting digital transformation and process automation initiatives
Preferred Skills
- Strong familiarity with BIM workflows
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Dynamo
