Responsibilities
- Help experienced electricians and supervisors with installing conduit systems including EMT, RMC, and IMC
- Set up cable trays and associated support structures
- Support the installation of electrical gear, panels, and devices
- Pull electrical wire and assist with terminations under direct supervision
- Install grounding and bonding components as instructed
- Prepare and organize materials and work areas on site
- Assist with tasks in electrical rooms, data halls, and auxiliary spaces
- Keep sensitive data center environments clean and orderly
- Adhere to strict access controls, cleanliness protocols, and work sequencing rules
- Comply with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and internal safety standards
- Attend daily job hazard analyses, safety talks, and team meetings
- Wear required personal protective equipment and report any hazards immediately
- Perform only those duties allowed within the apprenticeship program and under supervision
- Build proficiency in electrical tools, techniques, and code knowledge
- Accept guidance and performance feedback from senior electricians and leads
- Advance toward journeyman certification according to program requirements
Compensation
$120 daily per diem paid every day including weekends, plus $5.00 per hour retention bonus for the project
