Requirements
- Identify and resolve application security concerns while promoting secure coding standards across multiple development groups
- Implement authentication, encryption, authorization, and access control mechanisms within applications
- Develop risk mitigation approaches for applications considering infrastructure, architecture, and coding practices
- Use application security scanning tools like IBM AppScan to analyze reports and confirm detected vulnerabilities and risks
- Apply source code analysis tools such as Fortify or Checkmarx to help development teams adopt strong security practices and detect flaws early
- Work proactively with team members to resolve security and compliance challenges
- Educate and support developers in implementing the Security Software Development Life Cycle
- Partner with development teams to identify, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities during all stages of the application lifecycle
