About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android engineer to design and implement high-impact features that enhance the seller experience. You will work closely with product and design teams to ship reliable, scalable solutions that directly affect seller success and platform growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core Android application features for seller tools
- Collaborate with product managers to define roadmap priorities
- Work with designers to implement intuitive user interfaces
- Optimize app performance and stability for diverse devices
- Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Diagnose and fix bugs across multiple device configurations
- Contribute to architectural decisions for the Android codebase
- Mentor junior engineers and support team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with Android platform updates and best practices
- Integrate with backend services and APIs efficiently
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Improve build systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor app health using analytics and crash reporting tools
- Support A/B testing initiatives for seller-facing features
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate third-party SDKs for potential integration
- Drive improvements in accessibility and localization
- Collaborate with QA to ensure release readiness
- Respond to critical production issues promptly
- Document technical designs and implementation details
- Advocate for user experience improvements
- Balance technical debt with feature development
- Ensure backward compatibility during major updates
