Grupo Bancolombia is hiring an Analyst, Own Position Risk (Semi Senior) to be responsible for executing and proposing improvements within the risk analysis framework. You will apply defined processes, standards, and methodologies to contribute to the achievement of the financial business objectives. What You'll Do
- Master your assigned processes, tools, information systems, methodologies, and policies to strengthen your skills and fulfill service commitments.
- Control and track your activities and results to demonstrate your contribution toward achieving team objectives.
- Stay current with best practices and propose changes aimed at improving processes and results to meet daily service challenges.
- Generate reports, metrics, and analysis on your process so stakeholders understand service behaviors and can establish continuous improvements as a team.
- Optimize organizational resources, identify new needs, and propose transformational changes to facilitate and increase results for the organization.
- Address internal and external requirements related to your processes, maintaining and demonstrating the quality and timeliness defined in service agreements.
- Comply with organizational culture, established training plans, security and risk policies, internal regulations, and all guidelines to maintain proper and healthy employee conduct.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate professional in financial engineering, economics, business administration, or related fields.
- Knowledge of capital markets.
- Risk management experience.
- Data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and the risk appetite framework.
- Programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Practical knowledge of Power BI.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Good communication, teamwork, and ingenuity.
- Ability to self-manage and self-train.
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and self-learning capability.
