Scotiabank is looking for an Analyst, Data Management to manage and analyze data that supports critical business decisions. You will work on ensuring data quality and delivering data-driven insights across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage and analyze data to support business decisions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
- Develop and implement data management processes and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Create reports and dashboards to visualize data for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for data process improvements and automation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with data management tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications.
