About the Role
This role involves instructing real estate courses using provided materials, engaging with students in live online sessions, and supporting Spanish-speaking learners. The instructor will respond to student inquiries, lead discussions, and ensure course objectives are met. Teaching hours may occur mornings, evenings, or weekends, with variable weekly support time. Payment is hourly based on class duration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in alignment with established course plans
- Submit all necessary documentation to become a recognized instructor or Instructor of Record
- Engage students actively during live online classes
- Respond to student inquiries via email, voicemail, and discussion boards within one business day, preferably within 24 hours
- Demonstrate proficiency in webinar and livestreaming platforms used for online education
- Advise students on effective learning strategies and help them achieve course goals
- Complete the 16-hour CDEI certification through IDECC within four months of contract start and renew it every three years; certification costs are covered
- Permit the use of name and signature on student course completion certificates
- Attend scheduled and occasional faculty meetings related to curriculum development
- Submit required documentation to state authorities for school licensing and renewals
