We are looking for fluent speakers of the Alentejano dialect of Portuguese to contribute to a specialized AI training initiative. This freelance role supports the development of more accurate speech recognition systems by capturing authentic regional language patterns.
Responsibilities
- Record spoken Portuguese in the Alentejano variant under real-world conditions
- Review and transcribe audio samples for linguistic accuracy
- Provide feedback on dialect-specific pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar
- Validate AI-generated text in regional Portuguese
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in the Alentejano dialect
- Familiarity with regional expressions and phonetic traits
- Strong attention to detail in both spoken and written form
- Previous experience with language technology projects is a plus
