About the Role

Professionals will support the full lifecycle of radar systems, from concept through deployment, with emphasis on system integration, troubleshooting, and compliance with aviation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop radar systems for air traffic management applications
  • Conduct system-level testing and validation of radar performance
  • Analyze radar signal data to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • Produce technical documentation for system design and operation
  • Support field installation and commissioning of radar equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software anomalies in radar subsystems
  • Evaluate system performance under various environmental conditions
  • Participate in design reviews and technical audits
  • Implement software updates and configuration changes for radar units
  • Monitor system reliability and recommend improvements
  • Interface with government and aviation stakeholders
  • Maintain system security and data integrity protocols
  • Support certification and recertification processes
  • Perform risk assessments for system modifications
  • Develop test plans and procedures for radar validation
  • Work with vendors to integrate third-party components
  • Ensure electromagnetic compatibility in system design
  • Provide technical support during emergency outages
  • Track system performance metrics and generate reports
  • Assist in training operations personnel
