As a Senior AI / Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a central role in shaping intelligent robotics systems that power automation in commercial environments. You'll lead technical innovation by designing and implementing advanced algorithms in computer vision, AI, and robotics, ensuring solutions are both performant and production-ready.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of AI and computer vision architectures within robotics platforms using ROS.
- Conduct independent research and engineering studies to advance system capabilities and performance.
- Translate and optimize existing imaging algorithms for deployment on robotic systems.
- Develop tools and frameworks to streamline AI, machine learning, and ROS-based development workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define scalable platform architectures and guide technical direction.
- Advocate for innovation by contributing technical insights through white papers and industry discussions.
- Analyze algorithmic trade-offs across accuracy, latency, and resource constraints to deliver efficient solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in AI, computer vision, and robotics software development.
- Proven expertise in C++ and Python for production-level systems.
- Strong background in ROS, particularly in real-time and embedded environments.
- Experience with Linux, real-time operating systems, and robotics or mobile imaging platforms.
- Deep understanding of computational 3D geometry and its application in robotic perception.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools in AI/ML workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
