As an AI Augmented Data Architect, you'll lead the design and evaluation of sophisticated client solutions that embed Generative AI throughout every phase of development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure platforms. You'll provide technical leadership within the Data and AI practice, ensuring high-quality, forward-thinking outcomes while promoting responsible AI use.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions aligned with client business and technical needs, integrating Generative AI across project lifecycles
- Lead technical teams on major projects, guiding delivery excellence and innovation
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert insight on GenAI applications within Azure data ecosystems
- Develop new service offerings by applying GenAI to training, sales enablement, and solution design
- Use AI analytics to monitor and enhance project quality and output consistency
- Evaluate client architectures with AI-powered analysis to generate actionable recommendations
- Enhance software development workflows using AI-driven code generation, test automation, and defect forecasting
- Support proposal and RFP development using GenAI tools to produce accurate, high-quality content efficiently
- Collaborate internally to build standardized, reusable delivery frameworks enhanced by AI
- Mentor team members in adopting GenAI best practices and ethical guidelines
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, with strong emphasis on responsible AI deployment

Required Expertise
- Proven background in designing and deploying advanced Microsoft Azure solutions, especially with GenAI integration across IaaS and PaaS environments
- Consulting or professional services experience applying Generative AI to solve complex business challenges
- Deep knowledge of Azure data technologies including SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Fabric, enhanced by AI-driven workflows
- Advanced Python programming skills, particularly in building accelerators for data and AI solutions
- Hands-on experience with dbt in contexts where GenAI automates transformation, documentation, and validation
- Commitment to staying current with emerging GenAI capabilities and integrating them responsibly into delivery practices
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, available in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with flexibility to work remotely for up to four weeks annually.
