Responsibilities
- Record spoken Afrikaans phrases and sentences with accurate pronunciation
- Deliver performances with varied tone, emotion, and pacing as directed
- Follow scripts and pronunciation guidelines with precision
- Identify and report inconsistencies in text or audio instructions
- Maintain consistent audio quality across recording sessions
- Adapt vocal style to suit different contexts such as conversational, formal, or expressive speech
- Collaborate with project leads to ensure alignment with project goals
- Complete assigned tasks within established timelines
- Use provided software tools to record and submit audio samples
- Ensure recordings are free from background noise and distortion
- Participate in feedback sessions to improve performance quality
- Follow data privacy and security protocols for all submissions
- Stay updated on project-specific requirements and changes
- Contribute to the development of diverse voice datasets for AI training
- Represent the nuances of Afrikaans dialects and regional speech patterns
