Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives specifically for the local government sector
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of client engagements across diverse project models
  • Shape and advance practice capabilities within the local government domain
  • Initiate and influence industry discussions to uncover new business opportunities
  • Use sector knowledge and commercial insight to design targeted development strategies
  • Supervise all stages of business development, from outreach to proposal and pricing strategy, including risk and compliance reviews
  • Lead multiple concurrent delivery teams with varying scopes and timelines
  • Guide client communications regarding project progress and validation of insights
  • Represent engagements to executive-level stakeholders and senior management
  • Coordinate input from technical specialists and peers to inform critical project decisions
  • Design analytical frameworks and direct engagement teams strategically
  • Ensure timely quality review of project scope, assumptions, data, and findings
  • Oversee development of compelling narratives and high-quality final deliverables
  • Advance practice excellence through performance reviews, financial planning, operational improvements, and intellectual property creation
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members
