As an Adjunct Faculty member in the PhD Clinical Psychology program, you will deliver comprehensive instruction through a blend of asynchronous, synchronous, and in-person teaching methods. Courses follow the Blended Academic Year in Residence (BAYR) model, combining online engagement via Blackboard with a required 7-day on-site residency in Minneapolis, MN. During the residency, you will provide approximately 4 to 5 hours of daily instruction and participate in professional development and student advising sessions.
Teaching & Engagement
You will facilitate asynchronous discussions, lead two synchronous class sessions per quarter, and maintain active communication with students. Timely responses—within 48 hours—are expected for all student inquiries. Your role includes guiding students through complex clinical concepts, fostering scholarly dialogue, and promoting a respectful academic environment.
Assessment & Academic Integrity
You are responsible for evaluating student work with detailed, constructive written feedback. Assignments are assessed for academic integrity using tools like Turnitin, and all grading must align with university standards. You will also contribute to doctoral dissertation committees and may be invited to lead intensives or colloquia during university residencies.

- Demonstrate fluency in online teaching platforms, especially Blackboard
