Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize the monthly and quarterly financial close, including timelines, checklists, and review schedules
- Prepare and verify journal entries, accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and recurring accounting tasks
- Oversee the general ledger to ensure accurate, complete, and timely account reconciliations
- Enhance the chart of accounts to enable scalable and audit-compliant financial reporting
- Collaborate with FP&A to align accounting data with management reporting needs
- Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract reviews and accounting for multi-year and service-based arrangements
- Oversee the full order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, aging analysis, and revenue reporting
- Develop and maintain integrated workflows between Salesforce and the ERP system for efficient deal and booking reporting
- Lead accounts payable operations, including vendor setup, payment approvals, disbursements, and 1099 reporting
- Manage treasury functions such as daily cash tracking, bank reconciliations, and cash forecasting in coordination with FP&A
- Ensure compliance with sales and use tax requirements across all relevant jurisdictions
- Direct the annual financial audit process, including preparation and coordination with external auditors
- Research and document technical accounting positions for revenue, taxes, and complex transactions
- Design and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to support audit readiness and scalability
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and other applicable financial standards
- Implement automation and AI-driven tools to enhance accounting efficiency, accuracy, and insights
- Develop best-practice accounting processes, systems, and documentation for a scaling business
- Recruit, mentor, and grow an accounting team as the organization expands
- Continuously strengthen financial infrastructure to support audits, fundraising, and business growth
