Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting integrations for newly acquired companies, covering chart of accounts alignment, process transfer, and policy harmonization
- Supervise ERP system implementation, data transfer, and parallel run validation during integration
- Collaborate with payroll, tax, benefits, and operations departments to support a smooth organizational transition
- Ensure financial reporting from integrated entities complies with GAAP and internal reporting expectations
- Lead reconciliation efforts, variance assessments, and month-end close schedules throughout the integration period
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance integration efficiency and documentation clarity
- Develop and deploy standardized integration templates and documented procedures
- Act as the primary liaison between integration teams and leadership of acquired organizations
- Deliver consistent progress reports to executive management and external investment partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years of advancing experience in accounting roles
- Demonstrated background in ERP system rollouts and post-merger integration projects
- In-depth understanding of technical accounting principles, including GAAP, consolidation accounting, and intercompany transactions
- Outstanding communication abilities and experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders
