About the Role
The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison for Walmart accounts, managing daily operations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with client standards and service agreements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for Walmart account stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain service quality across assigned locations
- Coordinate scheduling and staffing to meet client demands
- Review performance metrics and service reports regularly
- Address client inquiries and resolve service issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with Walmart-specific protocols and guidelines
- Lead regular client meetings and provide status updates
- Track contract deliverables and service level agreements
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize workflows
- Identify opportunities for service improvements
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments
- Oversee vendor coordination when applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation of account activities
- Support onboarding of new Walmart sites
- Assist in budget and forecasting processes
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Report on key performance indicators monthly
- Facilitate communication between field staff and corporate
- Implement corrective actions for performance gaps
- Train team members on client-specific requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Walmart policies
- Escalate critical issues following defined procedures
- Support audit preparation and compliance checks
- Promote client retention through proactive engagement
- Contribute to renewal and contract extension efforts
