About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the Target account relationship, developing strategic plans to grow sales, and ensuring brand objectives are met through effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual strategic plans to expand brand presence within Target stores
- Collaborate with retail partners to align on promotional calendars and product launches
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Target account across internal departments
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure in-store and digital campaigns are aligned
- Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to prevent stockouts
- Present performance updates and forecasts to senior leadership
- Drive sell-through by optimizing product placement and planograms
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms in alignment with financial goals
- Ensure compliance with retail standards and brand guidelines
- Lead cross-functional meetings with sales, finance, and operations teams
- Manage timelines for new item introductions and seasonal assortments
- Track competitive activity within the beauty category at retail
- Support development of retail-specific product bundles or exclusives
- Maintain accurate records of account communications and agreements
- Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and market insights
- Ensure timely execution of marketing and merchandising initiatives
- Work closely with logistics to align delivery schedules with promotional needs
- Provide input on product performance to inform future development
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key retail stakeholders
