About the Role
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to merchants, identifying financial service opportunities, negotiating agreements, and delivering exceptional service to grow their portfolio while representing merchant insights to internal leadership.
Responsibilities
- Initiate regular contact with current clients to highlight and promote available financial services
- Deliver outstanding customer service while applying strategic sales methods to increase awareness and adoption of financial products
- Develop strong, advisory-level relationships with clients to uncover potential financial service needs across the client portfolio
- Manage contract negotiations and finalize agreements to support portfolio expansion
- Meet sales goals by delivering expert guidance, personalized service, and collaborating with regional leadership to leverage regional opportunities
- Apply proven business development and relationship management strategies to meet or surpass set sales objectives
- Supply consistent, actionable feedback to leadership, representing the merchant perspective
- Comprehend the risk-based structure of merchant capital advances and effectively explain it to clients with support from the Risk department
