About the Role

This role involves managing a portfolio of state, local, and education customers in Texas, with a focus on expanding business through relationship development, strategic planning, and consistent sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within state, local, and education accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Develop strategic account plans to grow revenue in assigned territory
  • Conduct regular field visits and customer check-ins
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs
  • Track and report sales activities and forecasts accurately
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up and support
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Provide feedback to marketing on customer insights
  • Support onboarding of new clients
  • Maintain CRM data with up-to-date account information
  • Coordinate with distribution partners when applicable
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Promote product training for clients and partners
  • Adapt sales approach based on customer type and needs
  • Comply with all sales policies and procedures
