WPP Media is hiring an Account Executive, Paid Search

Responsibilities

  • Execute paid search campaigns including keyword research, campaign building, and daily governance and optimisation with the Global Hub.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and ensure accurate media plans.
  • Manage on-time billing and reconciliations.
  • Develop excellent platform knowledge and contribute to best-in-class Paid Search strategy.
  • Continuously search for new opportunities to develop your specialism in Paid Search.
  • Collaborate with the wider department on training & events.
  • Support team members in executing effective paid search campaigns.
  • Ensure adherence to the WPP650 Way for Paid Search on your clients.
  • Contribute to the development of products and make full use of available technology.
  • Adopt 3rd and 1st party tools & technology (e.g. Unlock, WPP Media Automations Portal).
  • Meet service level agreements and manage tasks through project management suite.
  • Participate in client meetings and ongoing client engagement.
  • Support day-to-day QA processes to minimize error and risk.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate adherence to process.
  • Prepare wider client or team deliverables such as actionable insight reports and reporting.
  • Be an active member of the Paid Search community through internal meetings and WPP Media training & events.
  • Manage paid search campaigns with ongoing and timely optimization.
  • Work with line managers to plan and execute Paid Search strategy aligned with WPP650 Way.
  • Carry out performance analysis, internal data maintenance, issue identification, and implementation of solutions.
  • Perform daily campaign and budget management checks.
  • Work with colleagues in the Global Hub to ensure daily diagnostics and governance meet high standards.
  • Spot trends & patterns in data, fix alerts & anomalies proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with line managers, client team, and client contacts regarding deadlines and delivery.

Requirements

  • Completed certifications in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Affinity for numbers and basic data analysis knowledge.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work as part of a group.
  • Proactive with confidence to question the status quo.
  • Focus on causation, not just correlation of data & performance.
  • Identify insights, make them actionable, and execute.
  • Immaculate attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Interest in digital marketing, specifically Paid Search and Cross-Platform campaign formats (e.g. Performance Max, Microsoft Audience Network).
  • Analytical mindset coupled with creativity.
