Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass quarterly revenue targets within designated territories.
- Focus on retailers, online marketplaces, and delivery platforms that align with the ideal customer profile.
- Generate a strong sales pipeline using outbound outreach, industry events, educational workshops, LinkedIn engagement, referrals, and innovative networking strategies.
- Demonstrate a proactive, results-driven mindset with consistent prospecting, follow-up, and competitiveness in winning RFPs.
- Manage every stage of the sales process from initial discovery through ROI storytelling, product demonstrations, technical coordination, proposal delivery, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Engage with executive and departmental leaders including C-suite, Finance, Product, Data, and Engineering teams.
- Work closely with internal departments to establish feasible timelines, technical compatibility, and favorable commercial terms.
- Keep pipeline data accurate, forecast reliably, and participate in weekly deal reviews.
- Develop deep expertise in retail media, including ad monetization models, auction mechanics, ad server operations, advertiser onboarding, onsite versus offsite strategies, and GMV-based revenue structures.
- Analyze competing platforms—including legacy ad servers, DSPs, and retail media networks—and clearly communicate key differentiators.
- Spot emerging market trends and guide clients with evidence-based insights.
- Gain thorough knowledge of core infrastructure components: auction systems, ad serving, optimization engines, reporting tools, and API integrations.
- Communicate technical details clearly and confidently, focusing on business value while simplifying implementation aspects.
- Tailor product demonstrations to match each customer’s operational maturity and business model.
- Leverage customer data to project ROI, adoption growth, and monetization potential.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Map organizational stakeholders including champions, skeptics, blockers, procurement contacts, and technical decision owners.
