M3USA is hiring an Account Director- Market Research (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing client accounts by overseeing contract terms and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Expand business relationships by networking with current client contacts to uncover new prospects.
  • Coordinate kickoff meetings with clients and internal teams, craft strategic proposals, and lead high-impact sales discussions.
  • Advise clients on sampling strategies and broader business challenges.
  • Deliver exceptional service by aligning with Project and Research Managers to meet project requirements and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Address and resolve issues related to sales commitments or project delivery in collaboration with client and operations teams.
  • Oversee bid submissions and ensure they are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Partner with external vendors and collaborators to support smooth project execution.
  • Serve as the primary connection point between Sales and Project Management teams for all initiatives.
  • Occasionally travel, sometimes with senior sales leadership, to engage clients on-site and present service capabilities.
  • Meet personal revenue targets while fulfilling all assigned responsibilities.
  • Effectively use HubSpot CRM to record calls, bids, and meetings; maintain up-to-date contact and company records; track deals through the sales cycle; manage the sales pipeline; and distribute detailed Account Plans.
  • Take full accountability for achieving individual revenue, gross profit, and sales objectives, providing reliable weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Demonstrate understanding of research methodologies, interpret client goals, recommend suitable service options, confidently present bids, and proactively guide clients on compliance matters.
  • Collaborate across internal departments to enhance client service, support project delivery, and maintain healthy profit margins.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance of the assigned account(s) by effectively managing contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Actively network within existing client contacts for any new business/prospects
  • Organizing client and internal kick off calls, developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales communications
  • Consulting with clients on sample design and business issues
  • Provide superior customer service by working with Project Managers and Research Managers to execute project specifications and deliver quality results to clients
  • Resolving sales or delivery issues with client and Operations teams
  • Managing bid requests, and ensuring proper and timely delivery
  • Collaborating with partners and vendors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Act as the liaison between Sales and Project Managers on all projects
  • Light travel (possibly with a sales VP) to support onsite client visits as well as earn and develop business by presenting capabilities
  • Maintaining personal quota while delivering on the above
  • Uses the CRM (HubSpot) proficiently to log all sales activity – calls, bids, meetings. Updates contact and company information as required. Able to correctly move a project through the deal cycle and manages pipeline using HubSpot. Produces, maintains and disseminates to internal teams well written, informed Account Plans
  • Takes full ownership of individual revenue, GP and sales goals. Is able to provide an accurate weekly and monthly sales forecast when requested to
  • Understands research methods and methodologies. Comprehends client objectives and can offer guidance around the service/product options available to our clients. Speaks confidently when delivering a bid to a customer. Proactively advises clients on Compliance
  • Works collaboratively with each of the other internal teams to the benefit of our client. Drives client service whilst also maintaining a healthy GP. Proactively handles critical client conversations and supports Operations in project delivery
