Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 1 internship in an accounting related field, such as tax accounting, auditing, or accounting consulting
Nice to Have
- Self-driven, willingness to learn, and able to develop relationships with client personnel
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Good understanding of auditing procedures or audit readiness activities
- Basic understanding of DoD property (asset) management and valuation
- Working knowledge of GAAP, GAGAs Yellow Book audit standards
- General understanding of accounting system processing and interfaces, specifically ERP systems
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
