TUNGA BV is looking for a Senior Drupal Developer to contribute across Drupal/PHP development, frontend delivery, QA/testing, and DevOps practices. The role focuses on producing maintainable code, ensuring reliable releases, and upholding strong engineering hygiene within a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do
- Build and extend Drupal/PHP solutions, including developing and maintaining Drupal sites and modules, implementing integrations, and supporting upgrades and configuration management.
- Deliver frontend features by implementing UI components and templates, improving performance and accessibility, and ensuring cross-browser reliability.
- Own quality through testing by creating and executing test plans, supporting regression testing, and improving coverage via automated tests (unit/integration/end-to-end) where applicable.
- Contribute to DevOps practices by supporting CI/CD improvements, collaborating on deployment workflows, and helping maintain monitoring and observability for production systems.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong PHP and Drupal experience, including Drupal development, theming/templates, module work, and best practices.
- Proven frontend development capability with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI implementation.
- Solid QA/testing mindset with hands-on experience validating features and supporting automated testing.
- Exposure to DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
- Comfortable working with modern engineering practices like code reviews, documentation, and iterative improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, Docker/container workflows, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and observability practices (logging/metrics/tracing).
