Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production staff to verify products meet defined standards
- Coordinate with plant leadership and federal inspectors to uphold adherence to food safety protocols
- Instruct and guide team members to maintain compliance with quality programs
- Analyze customer feedback regarding product defects to identify improvement opportunities
- Direct investigations into the underlying causes of quality or safety incidents
- Organize and lead regular team huddles to assess group effectiveness
- Deliver personalized performance input and establish growth strategies for staff
- Manage a team of around ten quality assurance technicians
- Verify that facility workers follow proper hygiene and safety procedures
