Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and operate various press machines
- Complete setup procedures specific to the press type, including mounting plates or fitting cylinders
- Inspect plates and cylinders for defects and verify accurate image alignment
- Prepare press blankets for operation
- Regulate web tension and adjust print register settings
- Apply color corrections and fine-tune press settings before and during production to meet quality standards
- Clean, oil, and service press equipment regularly
- Conduct small repairs and replace damaged or worn components as needed
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines

- Complete all pre-production setup tasks related to the specific press, such as installing plates or cylinders
- Inspect plates and cylinders for flaws and confirm proper image placement
- Prepare blankets for use on the press
- Adjust tension and register settings for accurate printing
- Perform color adjustments and press modifications before production to meet quality benchmarks
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain press machinery
- Conduct minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts as necessary
- Follow manufacturer-recommended intervals for preventive maintenance
